Designing for the context, designing for emotion
Project Overview
One of the skills I strengthened at my Product Design training was to think before making. How? By analyzing and understanding how users, the context of use, the device, and the interface play a fundamental role in the creation of digital products and services.

As if it were an equation to be solved, these four variables influence and depend on each other, providing us with clues, guidelines and sometimes limitations to project our design solution.

And that's how we approached one of the problems we were presented with. Listening to Spotify in the shower is very uncomfortable. Can you think of a way of solving this?
My Contributions
Starting from zero, but preserving Spotify's brand image, I started to solve the unknowns. Does it need a screen? Are there any materials that help to prevent it from tarnishing? How will the user interact with it if their hands are wet, or their eyes are soapy?

The result was Spotify Connect, a physical device, waterproof, easy to use and manipulate that can be used any time, anywhere.
